The Irish Snug is a Denver authentic Irish Pub, located on Capitol Hill. Rumor has it that Jack Kerouac and Neal Cassady hung out here, and when you visit on the weekends you will definitely feel that vibe. This little snug is stacked with great people, food and real Irish energy. Downstairs there is a huge bar area with flat screens, couches, love and pure merriment. When we asked regulars to describe the "Snug", they had so much excitiment, they couldn't even make full sentences. We like that. Maybe it's due to a few too many Irish car bombs, but hell, we love that even more.

My friends and I have been hanging out at this place since its beginning. I've seen it blossom from that "new little Irish Pub on Colfax" to an amazing place to get a well-priced pint, awesome food, and have some good craic. I've made some of the best friends of my life in this bar...patrons and employees...and would recommend it to anyone. This place has made some great memories for me. Stop by and make some of your own there. Frank and the gang will treat you well! P.s. - I hate to burst the reader's bubble. But, Jack Kerouac and Neal Cassady didn't hang out here since the place isn't that old....at least not when it was called The Irish Snug.
The Irish Snug is the best Irish pub in Denver and East Colfax's premier watering hole. The place offers two bars, one upstairs, one downstairs. The expansive basement is a hot spot on the weekends and the patio is a great people watching venue. The chicken wings are the best I have tasted - boiled, fried and then grilled to perfection. Live music fills the air of the upstairs bar several days a week. Irish drinking songs on Saturdays and jazz on Wednesdays. Great 2 for 1 happy hour too!
