Some might look at the inside of the Skylark and deem it “retro,” when in fact the décor simply hasn’t changed all that much since the joint opened in 1943. The main floor is spacious, with plenty of room for dancing on those occasions when there is a DJ doing his or her thing, while the upper story recently opened as the Pair-O-Dice Poolroom, which holds a number of vintage pool tables. The bar is well-stocked, even if the bartenders can be a little surly from time to time.
