Zen Ultra Lounge is the new concept club from Kostas Kouremenos. An Eastern organic themed club, Zen offers a chill lounge atmosphere accentuated by custom-made sculptures, bamboo and a forest motif. The lounge also houses Organicity Restaurant which serves up unique organic Mediterranean cuisine. Several theme nights dominate the calendar with Pinup Wednesdays featuring the in-house burlesque troupe and Tantra International Nights on Thursdays. Resident DJ Danny regularly spins a mix of top 40 pop, rock, house and hip-hop tracks with the help of an 18,000 watt sound system and one of the largest projection screens in Denver for multi-media displays.

If you enjoyed feeling ripped off and being scammed, then this is the place for you! Admissions was free as advertised on their webpage, but when my group of friends and I arrived, they charged us $10/person. The bouncers and staff were rude and unhelpful. Interior was NOT NEARLY anything like the pictures proclaimed. Drinks were overcharged and tasted horrible, I bought 4 drinks and the total charge was $54, not including tip. Music, again, was not anything advertised on their website. Overall, a bunch of SCAMMERS! I would give it a 0 star, but there is no such option.
It was a nice place, cool people, good wide scene, looked fabulous. However, I only bought two drinks totaling $20 ($10 each) for myself and one other person. My credit card was charged four separate charges of $24 equaling $96! The night was great until the following day when I saw all those pending charges. The issue has yet to be resolved and I'll be back and post it once it is!
