Owned by the same girls who run the Horseshoe Lounge a couple doors down, Jonesy's Eatbar offer a similar unpretentious and laid back atmosphere only without Big Buck Hunter or your grandparents' decor. Denver's first and only gastropub, according to signs outside, Jonesey's offers variations on classic comfort foods such as six different versions of sliders from tuna to hanger steak and three different fries bowls including a mac and cheese version and one with truffles The menu is basic and not overwhelming, but by no means underwhelming. Two pool tables and comfortable bar with leather chairs bring in the designated tipplers along with the local dinner crowd. Happy Hour sees half price wine by the glass and discounted beer from one of the best Colorado brew list in town (over 30 Centennial State bottles) along with seven specialty cocktails.
