All you've got to say is "FREE pool and $1 PBR's" and I'm there. No wonder this place has been around since 1926. It listens to what the people want and gives it to them. Is that so difficult of a concept? Politicians should swing by here every once in a while and learn something. On second thought, if someone snapped a shot of an elected official during the nightly boob-grab here, that might spell curtains for their political career.

The remodel of the Miner's Tavern is complete and it looks great.
Oh my God, you have got to be kidding. This place is the biggest dump I've ever been to. The only men in the place are either stupidly drunk and handsy, or 90 years old. No women go in there because all of the men are perverts!! The woman bartender during the day is absolutely frightening, not to mention blind. I ordered a vodka tonic and she stuck her finger in my drink to measure how full it was!! Gross!! Needless to say, I ordered a bottle of beer and did not drink that drink. I have been in 2 times when my boyfriend dragged me in to play pool. One night, we had two beers each and the bartender said we owed $54.00. She said that our "friends" who had just left told her to put their drinks on our tab. What a total rip-off artist. We asked to see the Manager and she said he wasn't there and that she would call the cops if we didn't pay up. We told her to go ahead, threw $10 on the bar and left. The bathrooms are disgraceful, I don't think they have been renovated since the place opened in 1926, not to mention the men's room has pee all over the floor. It is dirty, the patrons are very seedy, and the drinks are over priced. I will NEVER go back!!!
Miner's Tavern has great burgers and a good selection of draft beers.
