Stand on Colfax outside the Satire and look at that sign, man.  Neon and light bulbs.  What do they mean?  They mean old-school, and that’s exactly what the Satire is.  It’s good at night, vintage booth seating and all that, but it really gets jiggy in the afternoon.   That’s when the real people are there.  Old-school barflies in an old-school lounge.  A 12 oz. beer is $2 and for $3.50 you get 20 ozs.  The afternoon burrito special is $3, and they cook the little beauties next door at Pete’s Kitchen.  Tell your friends and neighbors.
