Rustic can be defined several ways: 1. Pertaining to the country or 2. Uncouth, artless or unsophisticated. Rustic Tavern falls somewhere in between. Still in Denver, its location is somewhat outside the central area and you'll probably not find any masterworks hanging on the walls. A neighborhood bar, Rustic probably doesn't care how it is characterized. Cheap drinks in a low key setting is what you'll find. Draw your own conclusions.

There are a few things wrong about the Rustic Tavern on this website. Yes it is a dive bar and actually voted one of the top 10 in Denver. The bar is very clean NOT just up to par. It is cleaned on a daily basis. The bar is not just open nightly but they open by 8am. As well its says that they accept credit cards and it is a cash ONLY bar. They also do not have a "Happy Hour". There is really no need with what the prices of the drinks already are. The orgianal review doesn't give this bar very much credit and it has the wrong phone number. Yes the average drink price is about $3 and ALL of the bartenders sure know how to make a good drink. Not just that but they are wonderful people. It is a nieghborhood bar that welcomes all walks of life by the 83 year old owner. They also have a back yard, How many bars in Denver have a backyard that has grass? This is the type of bar that you can't go in just once. You meet all the great people there and see how laid back it is, you will never want to leave! This bar is the BEST neighborhood bar I have ever been to and I will keep going there forever!!!
