I've lived in Golden for a while now and always noticed Spot Bar and Grill but had never actually visited. The other day I was board and decided to go for a walk. Half way through my walk I found myself in front of Spot. I figured, now is a great time to have a beer if there ever was one. So I entered. I walked throught the smoke free patio, with a pool table and into the bar itself. Right when I walked in I was greated by two very friendly bartenders. I decided to sit at the bar. There were TV's playing all kinds of sports all over the place. Being a huge IPA fan I was very excited to see Great Divide Titan on draft, delish. I only stuck around for one beer, but did look around at everything going on around the place. In the back of he bar there was a large group playing foosball and shuffle board, and throughout I was very happy to see folks bringing their kids in, family friendly is important to me. Overall I was so happy I'd gone into Spot and can't wait to take my family and friends back to visit this neighborhood gem.
