Cool River Café is one of those trendy see and be seen places where you have the opportunity to have a bite to eat, enjoy a cigar in the Cognac lounge, play a game of billiards, or enjoy a cocktail at the martini bar while people-watching to your heart's content. A lot of the food is made based on alcohol such as the Jim Beam infused ribeye or Makers Mark pecan pie and they have quite an extensive wine list. Whether you're going for business or pleasure, eating or drinking, chances are Cool River Cafe has something for you.

Our company Christmas party is at Cool River every year and my wife and I have dined there a couple of times on our own. Everything's good, some things are exceptional, and it's definitely one of the hot places to network at cocktail hour if that's what you're into. Purely for dinner, though, I don't think it delivers quite enough for the price tag - especially given the quality of the competition nearby. I would personally suggest you bite the bullet, put your budget to the back of your mind, and head over to Brooks instead. It's a little more expensive, but you'll get probably the best meal available in Denver.
Cool River almost always has great live music, I love to go in for drinks and appetizers and to enjoy the bands! Never a bad time at Cool River!!
Wow! What a steak! Warm cozy atmosphere...loved the Filet Oscar, and the service was courteous and efficient. I'll be back!
