Alba Ristorante capitalizes on its dual status as an old favorite and a new hotspot. Formerly the Full Moon Grill, one of the city's favorite Italian restaurants, the owners re-opened at a new address, while retaining the menu items that had garnered a loyal following. Savory staples such as the Pan Seared Striped Bass at $24, the Braised Lamb Shank at $24 and the Butternut Squash Cannelloni for $17 have maintained their flavors, and one of the restaurant's signature pieces, the $9 Crispy Polenta and Grilled Anjou Pear makes finding the new spot on Canyon worth the effort.
User Reviews
Okay I am 2 for 2 with Denver's restaurant week so far. I was blown away by Alba! The chef, Alex Feldman, is brilliant. Everything tasted amazing - the bass, lasagna, scallops...Definitely worth the drive to Boulder. Outside of Denver week, very good prices for quality of the food. Must try the French Hound martini too! Don't let the ingredients weird you out - unique but sooo good. Enjoy!
