Denver Civic Theater
Type: Theater
Hours: Depends upon the event & day of the week.
Originally constructed in 1921 as Denver’s first silent movie theater, the DCT is now the central show-piece of the Santa Fe Arts District. The complex houses two theaters (one with over 300 seats, and a smaller hall that seats just over 130), as well as an art gallery, a café space that is perfect for meetings, and is the residence of several local theater companies. They have a liquor license and a full-service bar. The hilarious “Defending the Caveman” is still enjoying its unprecedented run.
