an absolute blast of a time! from the completely hilarious emcee that shut down hecklers with ease, to the beautiful performers, aerial and magic shows, and fun and friendly staff, this place must be experienced. show up early if you dont like making reservations, the venue fills up quick. good wine prices, slightly elevated mixed drink prices, slightly higher cover charge than one would expect, but all WELL WORTH IT!!! 5 stars.
Hidden in the basement of the May D&F tower on the 16th Street Mall, Lannie’s has a bit of a speakeasy feel. Maybe that’s why people still dress up to go there, it’s a taste of the Queen City of the plains as she was: bawdy, baroque and boozy. Lannie’s is definitely the place for a ‘date night,’ whether it’s your first, or your 500th-- it’s an experience, and a room you won’t soon forget. Burlesque dancers, torch singers, drag, even aerialists perform on the stage nightly, and reservations are a must.
